EOIR

IERUS is developing advanced EOIR solutions to resolve communication and sensing issues in various environments.
We are developing new methods to communicate in congested environments and discriminate new target features. We continue to develop new sensor and communication waveforms for future environments, as well as provide sensor deconfliction and enhancement. IERUS has developed libraries to ensure no structural artifacts in training impact real-world algorithm performance.

Visible Sensor

IERUS is currently providing the engineering development and manufacturing for a missile defense interceptor platform Visible Sensor Unit (VSU) to an MDA prime contractor.
The VSU includes a complex sensor sub-system comprising of a focal plane array board, visual detector sensor, ejectable cover, and all necessary thermal and structural components to support the operation of the VSU.

Extremely Accurate Star Tracker

IERUS is currently developing EAST (Extremely Accurate Star Tracker) through the Navy SBIR/STTR Program.

EAST is a refined, accurate, Low SWaP star tracker. IERUS is providing design and test cases that EAST’s star tracking accuracy is 100 times current technology and is small, lightweight, and portable.

The star tracker prototype is undergoing HWIL (Hardware in the Loop) testing that emulates missile and spacecraft environments. EAST enables the precision attitude determination for space vehicles and is anticipated to result in a greater than two order of magnitude increase in accuracy to many of today’s COTS star trackers.
