Optics

Decades of Optical Design, Integration, and Test Expertise

Our optical expertise included both physics-based modeling and simulation of optical systems from target to sensor and from UV to IR, as well as optical sensor hardware analysis, design, and manufacture through low-rate production. Our in- house expertise includes lens design, opto-mechanical design and analysis, thermal analysis, and sensor technologies. Our electronics capabilities include in house embedded processing and printed circuit board design. We have areas of expertise in space and directed energy systems. We also have working relationships with University of Huntsville Center for Applied Optics and the University of Tennessee Knoxville when additional SME support is needed.

EOIR

IERUS is developing new methods to communicate in congested environments and discriminate new target features.

Extremely Accurate Star Tracker

IERUS is developing EAST through the Navy SBIR Program. EAST is a refined, accurate, Low SWaP star tracker.
