Dr. Jason M. Keen

President, CEO, & Founder

Dr. Jason M. Keen is the President and Founder of IERUS Technologies. With 20+ years of experience leading cutting-edge defense research organizations, Dr. Keen is a well-known Subject Matter Expert for the US Department of Defense on the topics of integrated air and missile defense and strategic weapons. Dr. Keen is a consultant to major defense contractors, providing expertise on strategy, production, technology, and programs. He is actively involved in congressional advocacy activities in the areas of defense and acquisition policy.

Dr. Keen holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University. His thesis work focused on the development of specialized Green’s Functions and hybrid computational approaches for the solution and simulation of RF penetration through small apertures and subsequently coupling into shielded and unshielded electronics systems through transmission lines, circuit boards, and wires.

Dr. Daniel L. Faircloth

Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Daniel L. Faircloth is the Chief Technology Officer of IERUS Technologies. Dr. Faircloth earned his PhD in 2006 from Auburn University in Electrical Engineering, specializing in computational electromagnetics. He has over 20 years of experience in computational physics, electromagnetic systems and antenna design, RF signatures, and machine learning and optimization. As CTO of IERUS, Dr. Faircloth is responsible for overseeing the technical direction of the company, which includes IERUS’s hardware and software product development.

Dr. Faircloth is an active member of IEEE Antennas and Propagation and IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques societies. He has developed short courses on GPU acceleration and global optimization and has been an instructor in various radar cross-section short courses. Dr. Faircloth also serves as CTO and co-founding board member of Nullspace, Inc., an electromagnetics software company spun out of IERUS.

Mrs. Michelle Rhode

Chief Operating Officer
Mrs. Michelle Rhode is the Chief Operating Officer of IERUS Technologies. Michelle graduated from the University of Arizona and received her master’s from Florida Institute of Technology. With over 12 years of experience in organizational building and operational planning, she leads IERUS’s operations with a passion for people. From 2017 to 2023, Michelle served as Head of Human Resources, where she was a key part of IERUS’s growth and success, managing personnel, planning, procedures, compliance, and ensuring that IERUS harbored an ethical, comforting, and empowering work environment. As COO, Michelle now oversees IERUS’s legal matters, finances, ongoing contracts, quality procedures, human resources, facilities, and security while continuing to protect and honor the unique work environment IERUS has created. Michelle also oversees IERUS’s compliance with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and is the primary contracts interface with IERUS’s customers.

Mr. Dan A. Bodeker

Vice President of Business Development

Mr. Dan A. Bodeker serves as the Vice President of Business Development at IERUS. Since joining the company in early 2017, he has spearheaded the formulation and execution of strategic plans to drive the growth of all IERUS programs. Leveraging nearly 35 years of experience supporting DoD, NASA, and NATO efforts, Mr. Bodeker is responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating the roadmap, ensuring IERUS’ continued revenue growth is aligned with our core competencies.

As the leader of the Futures Innovation Cell, Mr. Bodeker oversees IERUS’ indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts and ensures the seamless execution of Task Orders. He also manages the corporate SBIR process, identifying opportunities for program transition to Phase III. Through his efforts, Mr. Bodeker has expanded the company’s reach to new clientele, facilitated teaming agreements, and collaborated with partners to seize emerging opportunities.

With a background in modeling and simulation, systems engineering, test planning, distributed ground tests, and weapon system analysis, Mr. Bodeker is also engaged in customer outreach and provides conference support, both domestically and internationally. Mr. Bodeker holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University.

Mr. Kyle Moore

Senior Vice President of the Strategies Division

Mr. Kyle Moore joined IERUS in 2018 and serves as Senior Vice President of the Strategies Division, overseeing program execution of the Division’s projects and activities. Mr. Moore leads efforts to provide IERUS and key partners with technical analysis and programmatic recommendations attributed to early-phase defense development programs. The Strategies Team is built upon a network of key individuals with vast government and defense industry experience, often exceeding well over 30 years.

Mr. Moore retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2011, having supported various National Defense and Joint Warfighting requirements, collections, and analysis activities. He closed out his military career as the Deputy Director of the Missile and Space Intelligence Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

Mr. Dane J. Phillips

Senior Vice President and Solutions Division Lead

Mr. Dane J. Phillips is the Senior Vice President and lead of the Solutions Division of IERUS Technologies. Mr. Phillips has over 20 years of experience in supporting DoD, NASA, and Prime contractor efforts. As Solutions Division Lead, Mr. Phillips is the direct supervisor to nine departs and is a direct report to the President of IERUS. The Solutions Division consists of more than 180 FTE engineers and scientists in areas across Optics, RF Technologies, Algorithms Development, Systems Engineering, Software Development, and Radar Analysis.

Since joining IERUS in 2012, Mr. Phillips has served as lead for Algorithm Development, Radar Technologies, and RF Systems in addition to his current role as Solutions Division Lead. Mr. Phillips’ background is in Optics and Electromagnetics with an emphasis on imaging systems, spectroscopy, and laser systems.
