IERUS Technologies, Raytheon Enter a Small Business Administration (SBA) Mentor Protégé Agreement to Advance Small Business International Trade and Business Development
[HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA] JANUARY 16, 2025 – IERUS Technologies and Raytheon, an RTX business, enter a Mentor-Protégé Agreement from the Small Business Administration to support the advancement of international trade and business development.
Through the Mentor- Protégé Agreement, Raytheon will provide IERUS Technologies international trade education and business development assistance to improve the company’s ability to successfully compete for contracts domestically and abroad.
“IERUS is excited to learn from Raytheon on how we can positively impact our national defense through international, in addition to domestic, deployment of advanced capabilities,” said Dr. Jason Keen, President and CEO of IERUS Technologies.
Together, IERUS and Raytheon will work to accelerate growth and enhance capabilities of small business initiatives domestically and abroad. IERUS and Raytheon already have a rich history of working together on numerous key DoD programs and are excited to expand their partnership to continue accelerating business initiatives within the DoD industry.
“The Mentor Protégé Program (MPP) is integral to Raytheon’s Small Business Supplier Diversity Strategy, and is mutually beneficial for both companies,” said Joseph DiCesare, Senior Director of Upper-Tier Missile Defense at Raytheon. “Through this collaboration, we will further develop IERUS’s ability to obtain and execute contracts and subcontracts.”

Upon completion, IERUS intends to see growth in sales, employees, and efficiency, as well as prime/subcontract awards while increasing accuracy and quality of technical, training, and certification goals.
